I'm taking a long hard look at this picture of the Cambridge Seven. I'm asking myself what this picture of these young Cambridge educated English gentlemen can teach me about reaching out to all the different cultures that I live amongst. There is a clearer picture here.
C.T. Studd was the most famous. If you don't know which one he is, have a guess. Then take a look here. Surprised?
What story does the picture tell you?

All I can sense from the picture is peace and determantion, but then again is it imagantion, or what I really sense.
The famous phrase of Studd's "If Jesus Christ be God and died for me there is nothing too great for me to do for Him" is inscribed on his wife Elizabeth's gravestone in St John's anglican church in Malaga, Spain. I was quite surprised to come accross it some years ago.
Best wishes,
Keith
Thanks for your comments guys.
"Some wish to live within the sound of Church or Chapel bell;
I want to run a Rescue Shop within a yard of hell."

Studd is first left on the back row. He seems to me incredibly relaxed for a man who was so very determined and committed. He almost seems as if he's relishing the whole thing!
