Wouldn't a good "Labour of love"
be to help people already in the church to take their next steps, with Jesus and to help make it easier to do so,
such as knowing where they can get plugged in with like minded people serving Christ and their friends.
[insert plug for connections groups here] as well as PROVIDING opportunities for ministry.
No doubt it would be - for people who want to do that sort of thing. The point of the post, though, was to highlight that high performance isn't down to talent, nor is it just about hard work, it is about working hard at something you love doing - whether that is helping people discover their ministry or,say,bee-keeping.
I know what your trying to say & I probably agree my point however is can it truly be a "Labour of love"
without it being something that God Loves :-) else deep down r they really happy & loving it

without it being something that God Loves" is a very good question. I think I would want to follow it up with "Does God love bee keeping, for example?". It's a question of whether or not God takes pleasure in creation generally and human beings doing stuff (non sinful, of course!) out of sheer pleasure. What do ya think?
